Company History
Precision Die Cutting & Finishing Co. was created in April of 1974. William C. Bardeleben founded the company after being laid off of work. With sheer determination to support his family through honest work, he finally started his own company, after working in the die cutting industry for 20 years. He became known as "Wild Bill," operating five used machines on his own. William C. had the vision and strong work ethic to create a successful business. Over the years, he nurtured the business with sweat equity and diligently trained all of his employees to be the best in the industry. William C. recognized early on that a solid commitment to customer service, talented employees and teamwork would ensure the continuation of his dream.
At retirement age, William C. handed the full management of the company to his son, William B. Bardeleben. William B, also known as Bill, has been successfully managing Precision Die for the past 35 years. With a full understanding of what it takes, he focuses on business operations, customer satisfaction, and business relationships. Bill is highly involved in checking each and every job, which guarantees your job will be done right the first time.
In 2013, Bill purchased several new machines and moved the entire company to a much larger facility at 4027 W. Le Moyne in Chicago.
In 2024, Bill moved again to a larger facility in Chicago at 5810 N Northwest Highway.
From day one to the present, Precision Die has been a family operated business focused on client satisfaction.
